CLASSES AND FEES

The only way to apply for a class at Allegro is via the online application form. We have a waiting list for all classes now so places are offered out by date order. Please do not email in, we cannot add your child manually as we hold an automated system.

Our terms are always 10 weeks long. Our 1 hour recreational fees cost £100 per gymnast per term, Pre school classes cost £90 per term and our Allegro Advanced and Squad gymnasts train between two and four hours per week and receice a discount according to the number of hours they train.

Allegro do not charge new members a joining fee but all recreational gymnasts must pay a compulsory fee for their membership and insurance with British Gymnastics

Both boys and girls are welcome at Allegro and most classes are mixed but organised into year groups.

Gymnasts are placed into classes according to their school ages rather than their ability as one of the wonderful things about gymnastics is that they can progress on each piece at their own pace. All children will work on floor skills, the bars and the vault, in addition girls will work on the beam, boys will work on the P bars. We have a full size air track and air floor at both Newstead Woods and Bromley that the children will use for tumbling.

We now offer classes for anyone from walking to age 18 including General Gymnastics, Acrobatic Gymnastics, Women’s Artistic, Acro, FreeG and Pre school gymnastics.

GYMNAST CODE OF CONDUCT

All gymnasts that join our club are expected to be courteous, respectful and kind. Rude, aggressive and argumentative behaviour will not be tolerated and the safety of our coaches and the children we teach will always be our priority. Any member that spoils the enjoyment of lessons for other children, or that poses any kind of safety risk or threat within our classes, including damage or interference of Allegro equipment, threat, danger or intimidation to other members or staff, will be asked to leave. We operate a fair teaching policy to all children, and sanctions will be used first and foremost, but our Head Coach reserves the right to remove a gymnast from the club should she feel it is necessary due to the safety and welfare of any Allegro member.

PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT

Our parent and gymnast codes of conduct are provided in full in the initial offer pack sent to parents, further details regarding behaviour is also included in our class pages. Any parent that shows threatening, aggressive or unpleasant behaviour to ANY member of staff, ANY gymnast, or ANY member of staff at the center will be asked to leave immediately and will not be allowed back onto the site. Decisions taken by our Head Coach are full and final and are to be respected. Any parent that has an issue with the teaching/behaviour of a coach should contact the Head Coach in the first instance and then should they feel they require further support they should then contact one of the Welfare Officers.
